Hello, I'm preparing a backup for Windows 10. I initially considered the link you shared, but I'm looking for a simpler or more efficient method. I don’t have budget constraints and also need limited storage space.

Just grab another 1TB hard drive; they’re really affordable these days.

If you lack funds or alternatives, avoid upgrading to Windows 10. It will become part of a service called "Windows." Although it's free at the moment, there will likely be an annual charge soon. Continue using what you have now and wait for Microsoft to reassess their decision before canceling the subscription.

He requires a tool for storing backups, not merely applications for that purpose.

You can purchase retail Windows 10 licenses, and I’m not sure there will be a yearly charge in the future.

for one who guesses, he didn't say it, others checked online it's just speculation. additionally, if it turned into a paid service, there wouldn't be any issues. suppose they charged 100–150 dollars yearly—that's a bit steep—but they might add things like windows, office equipment, XBL, groove, and even extra Skype credits each month.

A subscription would be a hassle for an operating system, particularly for someone like Elcld. I prefer a one-time payment of $200 and no ongoing worries about missing another bill. It’s important to consider this from the perspective of a consumer who can’t afford the yearly cost of $100-$150. This is just my opinion, though Microsoft has confirmed it. If you know the link, I’d share it—promise!

Updated: Discovered the source at http://www.forbes.com/sites/gordonkelly/...r=yahootix. For similar references, search Google for Microsoft's official statements. Windows 10 represents the final model in its lineup, after which it will function as a subscription service named "Windows."
