Looking for the top motherboard to pair with your AMD 5 3600 and RTX 2060S. (16 GB RAM, 3000MHz, 1TB HDD + 500GB SSD). Consider the Gigabyte GA-AX370-Gaming or similar options around similar prices. For cooling, a good CPU cooler and PCU are essential. Let me know if you need more details!

MSI b450 A Pro MAX offers the same performance as the tomahawk, just with slightly less flashy features and improved VRM cooling. It stands out for its value during the B450 era. Are you asking about a power supply unit? Also, consider upgrading to faster RAM—Ryzen performs best with quicker memory speeds.

I would choose the Gigabyte motherboard. For the cooler, the Cryo M9A is recommended—it effectively keeps my Ryzen 5 2600 running smoothly.

That cooler looks great, but the board seems okay. A pro max is just the top choice in that price range!

Select a B unit available at your local store and ensure it delivers around 500W.

Check the motherboards that show multiple green checks in the center columns. A single green check is sufficient, but having two provides more space for future upgrades and overclocking. These boards also often include BIOS Flashback support, letting you update the BIOS without a CPU installed. MSI models named Max are compatible with Ryzen 3xxx processors natively. Without Max, a BIOS update might be needed, though most still support Flashback. For budget options, the MSI B450-A Pro (with or without Max) is a solid choice. If you prefer something cheaper, the Asrock B450M works well. Gigabyte boards are also acceptable. Regarding power supplies, a 500W or 550W unit should suffice; a Ryzen 3600 consumes minimal power—typically 100-150W overall, with graphics cards using 250-300W or less, while high-end cards can reach around 150W.

Hey there! You could try going up to 650 if you want, but don’t go higher than that. Otherwise, it’ll just be a waste of money.
