Lol minecraft shaders approved! I gave it a shot and honestly, running the best packs is pretty tough, but I managed about 30-50 FPS depending on the server. Single player stayed steady around 50. It changes a lot with different texture and shader packs, but you get the picture. Unengine heaven has it, though I haven’t installed it yet—I was too lazy to set it up. I used 3Dmark for benchmarking and did better than most PCs.
I use Ark with maximum settings, which gives around 30 FPS, but I can reduce it to a lower setting and it works well. At about 80% of the resolution, performance drops noticeably if it's capped. I usually stick to 8-10 times the recommended level, which is stable. Sometimes the mouse input feels delayed—like clicking W moves slowly by a second, which is annoying. I tend to keep the resolution at 1920x1080 for consistency.
I’ll likely crash trying to play it just to see if it works, because it’s mostly a dead game overall—multiplayer is the main issue, but I wouldn’t mind playing single-player and testing my PC.
I could likely share this game with my friend and try it myself. I was thinking about it since he has a 980ti and sometimes has trouble running it, and I really want to compare our systems.
The latest TombRaider pushes boundaries. I successfully optimized Skyrim to run at 50 frames in 1440p using numerous modifications. Every aspect—weather, textures, draw distance—gets tweaked endlessly. Plus, a huge collection of gameplay and crafting mods.
