The top choice for the 3600 price-to-performance board would be a high-end 3600Hz motherboard. I’ve reviewed several options and noticed compatibility with Matzx, which should work well with your existing Midi Mortar Max, Max Tomahawk, and Asus ROG Strix B450. If you need more recommendations, let me know!

What's the cost then? You're asking about the value of these boards. There are cheaper MSI B450 ATX options available that match the power delivery and memory capabilities of the Tomahawk, but without the LEDs.

Mortar Max costs around 148 dollars, Tomahawk max about 181, Rog strix is 198. I’m okay paying extra if it improves my CPU reliability, but I won’t go over for a board that’s just as good at a lower price.
