Working with BLISS OS on an older i3 machine is functional but has some issues. I’m looking for alternative Android desktop options since Bluestacks doesn’t work well. It seems dedicated OSes are the best choice.

Is OREO a new Android release? I'm not very experienced with the updates, but I'll look it up.

Oreo is based on Android 8/8.1, with the latest update being Android 10 released recently. It functions well. I set it up in a virtual machine and it behaves exactly as expected on Android.

Great! When I first looked for "Android OS for desktop" and got the top five results, I missed this one. Thanks a lot!

Those are operating systems built for Android. I used Android for a project before and understood this one was available. Unlike the others you referenced, Androidx86 feels genuinely Android-based, just like on your phone.
