You'd likely need to modify the BIOS first, after which the selected CPU would function properly. That particular board won't support upgrading to a Ryzen 4000, and I believe it could be challenging with some Ryzen 3000 models due to limitations in utilizing the processor's full capabilities.
Currently, adding price markups to a 4000 compatible board isn't ideal. A 16x slot with 3000 support seems more practical. Maybe a new board will come along, but a CPU around 175 could work well. It would be better to prioritize a solid CPU and an RX480 card over a cheap board that can't run high-end CPUs. I'm also curious about whether the 1200AF is worth it compared to a 3200G. My old CPU was an i5 7400, so matching performance there would be great.
