Are you looking for a solid RAM option that works well with your Ryzen 5 3600? You're within a budget of around 1,300,000 IDR and need something reliable for games like Overwatch, Rocket League, Hitman, Watch Dogs, Valorant, plus video and photo editing. I’ll do my best to suggest suitable choices. (P.S. Crucial Ballistix isn’t available locally.)

The top choice is 2 x 8 gig sticks at 3600 MHz, CL 16 or 18. If those aren't affordable, a 3200 MHz model with CL 16 is also excellent. Consider brands such as HyperX and TeamGroup.

The G.Skill appears to be a solid choice at a lower cost. Also, were you able to locate 3600 MHz RAM in your budget? Keep in mind that turning on OC mode is necessary for it to operate at 3200 MHz; otherwise it will revert to 2133 MHz.

I tried, but the extra cost isn't justified. 3600MHz T-Force Dark Z Alpha adds 300-400k but isn't worth it because it's CL18 3600MHz G.Skill Ripjaws V and not available. 3600MHz Kingston HyperX Fury costs 400-500k more. 3600MHz OLOy WarHawk Red is 200k higher. As much as I'd like 3600MHz, I can't afford it. From these options, the OLOy kit seems best—RGB at that price isn't bad, and it's a solid deal for a 16GB 3200MHz CL16. If it sells out, the HyperX Fury is my backup choice.

From a general knowledge standpoint, a 3600 with CL 18 performs better than a 3200 with CL 16. It's technically still a good option. Regarding your query, I haven't come across OLOy or its internal components. If you find multiple positive reviews, it might be worth considering. G.Skill is a solid choice, though HyperX is also decent. Your dad’s past experiences might explain his hesitation, as electronics can have issues. But I’m not an expert and don’t know if they’re facing problems.

I’ve noticed positive feedback on OLOy, while negative reviews often stem from incorrect memory speeds provided by sellers. Appreciate the assistance, and I’ll move forward with finalizing the RAM.
