Hi everyone, I previously owned 4x8Gb Crucial Ballistix SR units and they performed well at 3600 MHz. I switched to DDR5 but decided to stick with DDR4 based on current market prices and reviews. Now I’m evaluating 2x16Gb 3600 DR kits—most are C18. These are the only two models I’ve found that are C16. Do they use identical chips or are they different DRAM types? Any other suggestions? Kingston Fury Renegade, 32GB (2x16GB), 3600MHz, DDR4, CL16, KF436C16RB1K2/32 Corsair Vengeance RGB RT.

These options won't match the quality of your 4x8 setup. They're single-level only and will likely use lower-quality ICs compared to your existing kit. Unless they're 16-16-16, you might end up with dual-rank Samsung B die, which is still decent but not as strong. For better performance, consider two Klevv 3200 or 3600 units—they're Hi-Nex DR memory and should outperform both in frequency and timing (especially TRFC). Running in a dual-rank configuration will still give you some benefits.

I own a collection of team group 8 pack edition 3600 32gb dual rank b die, enhanced by @RONOTHAN##. It delivers 58gb read/write capacity and 43ns latency—perfect for gaming from overclocking enthusiasts in the UK.

I'm looking for kits that are DR, like Samsung B-Die which is always DR. I'm unsure if Rev E or Rev B works, but I need to confirm the chip type. Checking PN info on their site might help. I think it could be a Hybrid DR, but frequency and timing details would clarify. I found B-Die in some G.skill Trident kits, but they seem too costly. For a 3600C16, I just want to verify it's DR before buying. Kingston seems like the best choice so far.

You can check your motherboard's memory QVL, locate some 2R sticks, and look up their current part numbers from existing listings.
