I'm experiencing problems with my 3080 drivers since April. My PC becomes slow, especially during gaming, making it feel sluggish. I've had similar issues before with my 1080 graphics card three years ago, and I still haven't found a solution. I have a 12700KF CPU and an RTX 3080 GPU. While I get over 200 FPS in games like Siege and Cod, my actual performance is much lower—around 90 to 180 FPS. It's affecting my gaming experience. If you want to know what's happening, try adjusting your monitor settings to 144Hz or 60Hz; that seems to improve the feel. I've reinstalled Windows, updated BIOS, and drivers already.

Return to the drivers the GPU handled well and check for problems in that driver.

Check if the GPU is being overclocked or underclocked. Reach out to the manufacturer and Nvidia for clarification.

Uncertain about everything, but it seems the fans get really loud when I don’t adjust the curve in the MSI. Also, are you confident the 3080 works well with a 1440p display? I’m considering moving to 1080p if this issue continues.

Uncertain about the fan curve details? Have you reached out to the maker? Also, 3080 works well at 1440p.

Sure, in certain games it works well when the 1% lows stay above your monitor's refresh rate, but some titles still seem slow even with 200+ FPS.

It seems odd—could be a display problem? Verify the refresh rate matches the settings and hasn’t been altered.

Nah monitor is decent, but should you use 240Hz 1080p high settings in Siege or go with 165Hz 1440p low settings? You have a 3080 and aren't sure which will work best.

I'd prefer 165Hz at 1440p. It offers higher quality, and for most people, the difference between 240Hz and 165Hz isn't noticeable.
