Without Asus support, finding a single program for both your setup is unlikely. For Intel CPUs, typically only the turbo boost is adjusted. You have two main paths: 1. Utilize the additional storage slots for the 4700HQ and possibly some bclk to raise speeds by around 200-300MHz. 2. Enable higher clock speeds by unlocking the processor. Option 1 can be handled with XTU, and with certain voltage adjustments you might achieve better performance than standard settings. Option 2 requires firmware changes and won't work with XTU, so special tools or BIOS tweaks will be needed. Outcomes differ, but success depends on proper cooling, power delivery, and current throttling.

I upgraded the GPU with a 75MHz core clock and 400MHz memory clock using MSI Afterburner. Performance improved Skyrim noticeably (+25 fps) and Arma 3 slightly (+5 fps). I was told Arma 3 is CPU-heavy, which fits since my CPU hasn’t been overclocked yet and even then it has limits—temperatures stayed just under 70°C during full load, indicating everything is stable.

Sufficient hardware can handle OC at 4GHz with 4700.

Avoid using BIOS to boost CPU speed; rely on the BIOS instead. For GPU overclocking, use MSI after burning the burner. Let me know if you're unsure.

That's helpful to understand. I'll examine it since the bottleneck appears to be CPU speed in Arma 3, and a 0.6GHz gap seems meaningful.
