Tool for making copies or clones of an HDD without interruption
You're searching for a software solution that maintains an exact copy of your SSD and automatically updates it whenever changes occur. It should work quickly without needing regular backups. Someone might have a program that meets this need.
instead of this approach I prefer a clean start. For that I use Deep Freeze http://www.faronics.com/en-uk/products/deep-freeze/. It allows me to modify, edit, or install any type of malware, virus, or bloatware and try different programs without fearing damage to my operating system. A simple reset will restore it, just like when I previously "froze" my computer for a permanent change. If I need to install new software after treatment, I’ll unfreeze it as with HDD cloning. Most recovery tools offer the option to create an image of the selected drive for backup as an ISO or IMG file. Some include scheduling features if you prefer regular backups. Still, I don’t feel comfortable with it. For personal use, I have nothing valuable—my important files are stored in my Google account and a flash drive.
Thanks, I’ll give it a shot. It’s not the most stylish choice, but I’m trying to back up my OS and files as much as I can. Besides weekly backups, all documents are stored in the cloud, and I regularly copy everything to my external hard drive. I’m just a little anxious about everything, but better safe than sorry! I’m doing my best to recover anything if things go wrong.
