Hey everyone, what’s the top choice for capturing video from your Logitech C920? I’ve used some software but it often struggles with audio sync and Premiere Elements doesn’t capture the footage properly. I’m looking for a reliable option that works well with this webcam, or if you have a budget-friendly camera suggestion.

No, Skype does not allow that functionality.

OBS could function. It’s been suggested before, though I haven’t used it for a webcam. https://obsproject.com/ Edit: Verify you have the right drivers installed. I located this on Logitech’s site; you should review it to confirm suitability: http://logitech-en-emea.custhelp.com/app...5/cl/gb,en

OBS functions properly but doesn't capture the highest quality. It might be sufficient for now. Your drivers are accurate and current.

Movie maker is no longer available, but I'll attempt it later and see how it stacks up against OBS.

Issues with the settings? Because you'll be saving locally, you can simply choose 1080p and a 3500 bitrate if your processor allows.

It's important to verify the settings and adjust the bit rate. The greater the bit rate, the better the quality and larger the recording size. Make sure you're using the h.264 codec and Intel Quick Sync if your processor supports it.

Hey there, the settings have been updated and it's much improved. I'll be using OBS for recordings moving forward. Keep up the great work, everyone!
