I might have actually performed that action, but I’m not sure if I did it properly. What I did was keep XMP disabled and then, when changing "System Memory Multiplier" to "Auto" and setting it to 36.00, it now displays 3600 MHz in Taskmanager and 1796.4 MHz in CPU-Z while leaving the rest unchanged. Is that the correct approach? :'D
RAM is often misunderstood. It’s the single part you need to upgrade just to meet the specifications. Most people think it works perfectly right out of the box.
It really confirms it's operating at 3600. As mentioned before, you could purchase it and obtain a 3600 kit while saving some costs. Since you won't be able to utilize its full capabilities at the moment, that's probably the case.
