I'm dealing with a CS issue and using deathmatch on Dust 2 as a reference. During play, I usually see around 100-120 FPS, but sometimes it drops to as low as 60. These numbers stay consistent regardless of settings. Even when I max out in 4K at 60Hz, everything runs smoothly at the lowest resolution of 640x480. The XBOX DVR isn't working properly either. I've disabled all CPU power-saving options in BIOS and adjusted my CPU's OC settings. Still no improvement. Anyone have similar experiences? Also, my specs are listed on my profile.

i5-3570K paired with GTX 1070 Super JetStream. Additionally, there are 12 gigabytes of RAM available, distributed across two separate channels.

I think the CPU and probably memory are the main issues, but reaching 60 is still more than anticipated. Look at the temperatures.

Is the RAM consumption exceeding 8GB? Also, should the CPU overclocking be activated again?

I attribute the issue to the video driver. Remove it using DDU and then reinstall the latest version. If that fails, try using previous drivers.

It turns out the driver was outdated. Updated, but still the same. Reverted two versions, still unchanged.

Use GPU-Z to verify the PCIe connection. With the Z77 board, expect PCIe 3.0, otherwise PCIe 2.0, both x16.
