It's handling traffic from your home network to the internet without much extra work. The DMZ is active on your PC, so most communication happens through the modem's modulation for outbound and inbound data. The firewall isn't running; you're using the SPI firewall from DD-WRT because others aren't very tech-savvy. Your ping stays around 80 ms, which is normal for you, and your input latency is just 12ms—well under network latency, so it doesn’t interfere with performance. You're focusing on giving priority to real-time data over streaming media. It's a straightforward task, and I was hoping someone would help with QoS settings. I located a manual for this modem, but it doesn't clearly explain the configuration options. Here’s the link: https://www.manualslib.com/manual/127354...ml?page=52

On the overloaded d2200d frontier router, adjust QoS main page settings. Set main traffic to 2. In rules section, modify rule 1 from 46 to 26—this helps prevent high demand in intense games without overwhelming the network. For a safer approach, return to the main QoS page and click "Apply." Ensure FrameBoost/Burst is enabled under wireless advance settings. Also, switch wireless-N to wireless-G (avoid altering data rates), as wireless-B is outdated and prone to latency with packet handling—still functional but not recommended.
