TonyMacx86 or RampageDev
For Hackinstosh, you should use the official installer provided by the developers.
TonyMac is significantly simpler than RampageDev. I'd choose Tonymac for myself. His project also has better community backing.
not just simpler, he also shares build instructions that assist users in selecting the best hardware; this further reduces setup time and complexity. EDIT: My reasoning for choosing RampageDev stems from the motherboard specifications—they needed DSDT and SSDT support. Comparing to Windows communities, this relates to chipset drivers. Many Gigabyte UEFI boards no longer require DSDT, and they’re fully compatible with OSX. I’ve installed OSX a few times now, and I’ve selected components based on TonyMac’s CustoMac build guide editions 2012/2013. Those guides focus on high-quality parts, so switching to MAC-compatible gear doesn’t significantly impact performance. Eventually, I moved back to Windows three times—initially because I disliked frequent reboots while gaming. This time, I bought a Creative ZXR soundcard, but it won’t work in OSX at all.
