Hi everyone, I’m trying to figure out something odd. Everything seems to work fine, but my PC keeps beeping for about eight minutes when starting Windows, then randomly again every few hours. It sounds like it’s coming from the Mobo, but I’m not sure. My build includes: Ryzen 3700X, Noctua U12s cooler, Tomahawk Max Corsair, LX 32GB SSD, Samsung EVO SSD, WD Blue HDD, RM550X power supply, and updated BIOS. The PSU and CPU were replaced too, yet the issue persists. After running MemTest86 and Blend Prime95 without errors, everything looks normal. My OCD doesn’t help much, but it’s definitely annoying. It happens exactly eight minutes after booting, then sometimes nothing appears in the error viewer. Anyone else who’s experienced this with the same Mobo have noticed anything similar? I’ve tried replacing parts and even unplugging components, but the problem remains. I think the faulty HDD might be the culprit—no lights or warnings when it happens. I agree you were correct. I saw a minor issue when taking out the ram—perhaps a small plastic piece or something stuck. The ram appears to be somewhat damaged, though I didn’t notice it at first. Since it’s within your return period, should I return it?
I’ve just left for shopping and checked my phone. I’ll try to capture it with a stock image. The sections that fit into the Mobo with golden lines have a small black part, almost like plastic. It seems there might be a chance to remove it, but I’m concerned about possible damage. Should I handle it myself or leave it? Besides the beep, everything seems normal.
