There exists an official Linux release of Tomb Raider (2013), yet the Steam site doesn’t list it as a supported platform. Since the game is available soon, I’m curious—buying it now means I’ll get the native Linux version if it’s offered?

I began it on Windows and completed it on Linux via Steam without any issues. The same holds true for the second game, even though I haven’t finished it yet.

I located the connected news article here: https://www.gamingonlinux.com/2022/02/to...-on-steam/ It seems I already own the original release since I purchased it earlier, though it’s unclear what will happen for future buyers.

I already own the game on GOG, so I don’t want to purchase it again. However, if it provides access to the Linux version, I’ll buy it.

while using steam I’m limited to the 2007 anniversary edition for Windows, but through Heroic Launcher (Epic Games Store) I can access versions like - Tomb Raider Game of the Year, Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition, and Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration on Linux Mint Debian Edition 5.
