A few days ago I attempted to power on my PC using the power button, but it would shut off instantly. I assumed the PSU was faulty, so I replaced it and bought a new one. However, the situation worsened—now it wouldn’t even display a single light. I reconfigured everything, isolating just the CMOS battery and jump-starting with two pins. Nothing resolved the issue.

Later, after removing the motherboard and connecting only the AIO, CPU, and essential components, I flipped the PSU switch. It turned on without shutting down! Yet it never did that before. The problem persists: it powers up without any button presses or jump-starting, but I can’t determine if the issue lies with the motherboard or CPU since neither provides clear indicators.

Any guidance would be appreciated. I’m unsure whether the problem is with the RAM, PSU, or CPU itself.

Did you only use the power cables provided with the RM850x PSU during installation?

Could it be the motherboard or CPU? I’m unsure because there are no clear indicators of why it powers on without manual intervention. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
