Hello friends!
hope this helps you understand my setup.
GPU - PNY RTX 2080TI
CPU - Intel core i9 9900K OC to 5.2GHz
Motherboard - MSI MEG Z390 ACE
RAM - DDR4 VENGANCE 64GB split on 4 channels at 3200MHZ
PSU - 1200W thermal plastic
Liquid cooler - Nzxt Kraken X72
my issue is that I have four 8GB GSKILL 4266 RAM modules, but my motherboard only supports up to 4133MHz (as stated on the official site). can i still run these 4266 rams in lower MHz?
i tried running auto mode at lower MHz like 4133MHz or 3900MHz and it shows an error about overclocking, then switched to default.
should i adjust voltages or is it impossible to lower the MHz on my motherboard?

The 4266mhz refers only to the maximum speed the RAM is designed for. You should be able to use 4122mhz on RAM rated at 4266mhz.
It seems the problems you're facing with overclocking require adjusting the settings to handle such high speeds. Even 4133mhz is quite fast. Honestly, you likely won't see much improvement from boosting from 3200mhz to 4266mhz since Intel CPUs don't scale very well with RAM speeds.
