I understand the issue with the image quality since it was taken on your iPad, not your PC. You mentioned you can't locate a solution and are unsure if you can re-enable this feature. Click the taskbar area, then select 'Properties'. Ensure 'Use Peek To.....' is enabled.

I believe I resolved it, but I’ll post it for others facing the same problem. It’s potentially dangerous if you’re not familiar with the Registry.
