You can turn off Wi-Fi when needed, but with a LAN cable you won’t be able to disable internet access. There isn’t a direct method to block the connection in both cases.

Access your internet devices via the control panel and adjust the adapter settings. Click on Ethernet, then choose disable. Done.

You can adjust settings through the router's interface, but not directly from another device. You’ll need to access the router’s admin panel via its web interface or mobile app and change the configuration as needed.

Some routers offer this feature, usually via parental controls. Prior to that, I used my son’s computer connected to a router that had its power controlled through a smart switch, which was turned off during certain hours—effectively blocking internet access after bedtime.
