My PC isn’t delivering the expected frame rate and someone suggested using HWinfo to check if my GPU is receiving sufficient power. It shows a maximum of 65w, which means I might not be utilizing its full capacity. I’ve confirmed the GPU is connected to its dedicated slot on the PSU.

Is this operating at maximum capacity, similar to FurMark? The card is designed for 290W, making 65W appear as minimal idle power. Any driver updates from Nvidia handle the settings within its control panel.

No, it was simply sitting on the desktop. I’m not very familiar with the instructions for verifying the maximum wattage for the GPU. If I can check it in the control panel, I’ll give it a try. You suggest using FurMark to perform a pressure test? Thank you.

But most any benchmark program would suffice.
