TMPIN 3,4,5 elevated readings
I installed hwmonitor and my tmpin 4 and 5 are fluctuating, reaching peak temperatures while my 3 stays at 100°C. I expect a gyazo here, but I noticed people mention the software isn't precise. Since this is my first build, my fans seem to be acting erratically every time I launch a game—sounds like they're maxing out, and even without high temps they get very loud. If anyone can help, it would really help a lot.
Use HWInfor64 instead of HW Monitor for better temperature details.
Spoiler: The temperatures are more accurate.
They've been creating a lot of noise when I first got the PC, and I couldn't resolve the issue. For the temperatures, it occurred only once before, then it stopped. The fans keep spinning loudly even when I play games at low temperatures.
Some motherboards let you adjust which component monitors for temperature. For instance, if they track your CPU, they increase cooling when it reaches high usage, like during gameplay. If your board detects overheating, they will boost performance. You might also need to check for a BIOS update on your board. There was a case where fans ran at full speed even after an update, and that resolved the problem. Another point is whether your fans use a 3-pin or 4-pin connector—3-pin setups can sometimes face speed issues with 4-pin connectors.
