Two ideas come to mind—Battlefield 3 and 4, post-processing AA in both games is terrible. HBAO in both titles feels overdone. The bright lighting in BF3 is the worst in any game, totally distracting. Are there any other good points?

In many games, increasing motion blur can make the experience feel poor each time you adjust it. I’m confused about why others prefer it.

it's a motion sickness thing. but people that really game don't get motion sickness in front of a screen so it's pointless.... it's for casuals

I usually turn off anything that distracts from my view since it affects the game's quality in a competitive way. On the battlefield, I keep effects in post-processing at a low setting and enable motion blur.

I avoid motion sickness by disabling motion blur, thinking it just makes the game feel smoother. I don’t have specific games in mind, but I also remove chromatic aberration and prefer clear visuals with adjustable depth of field to keep distractions low.

Uses no motion blue or AO, boosted 4xMSAA plus other adjustments, no post-process color correction. Feels much more balanced and realistic compared to when AO was enabled and the Vaseline shader was applied.

These adjustments were included honestly. Realism is often inspired by photos and films, but it doesn’t always fit well in games.

Nowadays, games need to feel more like movies.

adjustments applied instantly—no motion blur, grain, V-sync, or extra effects. Consistent across all games.
