I tried the game for the first time this weekend and found it quite enjoyable. But in your situation, I’d say it would be a real hassle to download just to play it briefly. I’m still puzzled about why MSI Afterburner could cause such an issue—I haven’t experienced this with any other titles before. Still, I’m not sure if I should buy it right now.
The reason is cheating. A lot of new games has built in cheat detection software, msi afterburners in game junk gets registered as hacking software in some games and causes issues. Titanfall isn't the first game thats been rendered unplayable just because of it. I've had about 3 other games, but it's been so long since I've played them I forgot it was even as issue.I spent 2 hours searching the web to find a solution and finally said this isn't worth it. When the beta works better initially than the full release something is wrong. It's not a big deal to me, I didn't enjoy the beta. I just wanted to see if it got any better. There was a very low chance of me buying the game, like I said. It looks decent at first, but after playing it for a couple hours it's just the same old stuff we have seen over and over with a different skin, couple new mechanics that don't really feel anything special. But anyways to each his own.
Uninstall Rivatuner Statistics Server and retain Afterbuner. I encountered an issue with BF4. Regarding the game: Check if you can reach the Mexico Origin Store, which is listed at 12USD. So far, it has been enjoyable; there are highly skilled players online, making the parkour more intense and the Titans don’t spoil the experience because they can be easily destroyed. If you enjoyed it and have friends to join, purchase it, but try to find a better price if possible.
You might enjoy playing Titanfall on the console, but it can become repetitive over time. On PC, the experience may not be as engaging.
Interesting point—people thought it’d fade quickly and not be worth the investment before it launched, only to face heavy criticism online. It seems MP and bots don’t go well together for lasting impact. Red Orchestra would have drawn more players, but too many bots would have overwhelmed the servers.
