Do you have a gaming laptop from brands like Lenovo, Acer Aspire, ASUS ROG and similar? (depending on the model).
I found out that without headphones my laptop produces clearer and richer sound at around 56% volume, which is much better than before. I used to keep it below 40% to save power and prevent audio problems, but now I’m starting to use it at 56% and it sounds deep and sharp at the same time. I tested this in Star Wars: The Old Republic.
If you own a gaming laptop from these brands or have visible speakers, try it out and see if it works for you too. No need to adjust settings or enable 3D audio—just use the default 48Hz playback.
I just wanted to note this because I noticed such an improvement in that game. I’ll try it in other games as well, but avoid going beyond 85% volume.
Good days
