Tips for Witcher 3?
Add more challenge to the game, especially after the early stages. Once you increase the difficulty, things become much more engaging. You'll reach a point where you feel strong and can tackle tougher content. Some sections will still be manageable, but they won't be as rewarding. NG+ is perfect for this. Also, participate in treasure hunts—locating the schematics takes effort but rewards you with valuable Witcher equipment. Make potions yourself; essential items like Swallow are standard, though some steps are helpful. The oils are useful too. Talk to blacksmiths about a master blacksmith or armorer—needed for crafting high-level gear. You’ll need to be fairly advanced to finish them, so look for places with exclamation marks on the map. These spots are great for starting quests and checking out village boards where you can find witcher contracts.
At the end of the tale, I docked my boat in a harbor and saw it flash that I’d just lost around half a dozen quests. I paused, thinking…wait, what? Someone else had mentioned this. By level 30, all my signs were maxed out, and any enemy or monster I met just died when I touched them. I set up a magic trap and stayed still while the bosses fell without me moving. If they managed to escape, my Quen shield would stop them from touching me. By level 35…the game felt almost pointless. But the DLC had some cool and tough boss battles, and New Game+ gave it a fresh vibe. I was around level 32 or 33 when I began NG+, and the first time I saw wolves, I grinned and charged at them. When they took me down, I sat up in my chair and realized…Alright then.
I took my time with the main story initially since I often check forums to avoid missing out. This game is truly exceptional—feel free to dive into all aspects. Engage with the community, try Gwent, and explore freely. The only real issue with the mod scene is that CDPR hasn’t released a solid redkit, leaving most mods relying on blurry visuals. Witcher 3 HD stands out among the graphics mods, while ENBS tends to distort colors excessively. In FIFA 16 I have far more mods installed than Witcher 3.
The world is in conflict, so treat everyone kindly. This mod displays all goals across your map, which is really useful since I overlooked some quests. NG+ deathmarch is quite enjoyable.
