Tips for wireless adapters?
Hey there, I've been looking online for some fresh internet adapters lately. It seems like new ones aren't coming out often. Do you have any advice on what to choose? I'm using the TP-LINK T1U Archer, but it's having issues loading pages quickly—sometimes it takes 1, 2, or even 3 seconds. My dad's adapter works much better and is still functional. I'm aiming for a budget of around $50 to $100. Any tips?
I’d prefer a premium PCIe NIC instead of something delicate that uses a USB port. Check this link: https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_...reless+NIC
Options from reputable brands such as TP-link, Netgear, Asus or Cisco offer solid feedback but cost a bit more—around $6 extra. See the links for details: https://www.amazon.com/ASUS-Wi-Fi-Expres...eless+card and https://www.amazon.com/TP-Link-Archer-T9...eless+card
Hey everyone! It should also function in a larger slot, though it might seem a bit awkward.
It might be due to various factors affecting performance, such as outdated hardware or interference. Your overall internet speed could also play a role—checking connection stability and signal quality would help clarify the issue.
WiFi is slow due to the network card. My dad’s adapter loads pages quickly, while mine takes 1–3 seconds. It doesn’t reach full WiFi speed or 5G on his device. Edited July 3, 2018 by Henkzorz
