Hi there! Your fiber upgrade is exciting, especially with a large garden to cover. For mesh networks, connecting each node directly to the main router is ideal—it ensures seamless coverage. You can daisy chain them using Ethernet cables if needed. No need to wire everything together; just link each device to the previous one. Within your budget of 400€, there are several good options you can explore. Let me know if you'd like recommendations!

I've tried the Ubiquiti HD and the Google mesh model. Both performed well as described. The Ubiquiti uses access points that connect via an outlet, like a bold punctuation mark. The Google version needs a power cord to sit on a desk. Either worked fine, along with most other products mentioned. Setup and operation were straightforward. The links I used are:

Avoid using mesh without it, yet it’s one of those straightforward "set-and-forget" options that includes this capability. Begin by learning about mesh systems in general. Next, examine which configurations perform best. A more affordable choice could align with a WiFi 6 mesh system, but you might also find other reviews for WiFi 6E/7 if your budget allows.
