B450 tomhawk offers maximum performance with a max B450 mortar capability. A slight downgrade exists, but without the slip or CF it should suffice.

I owned it for about a year, but my computer would crash often. Many users reported the same mainboard issue, and I don’t want to wait another four months just to get it back.

Gigabyte has removed the X470 model recently... I've been using an MSI X470 Gaming Pro for a while now. MSI just dropped a MAX version that supports Ryzen 3 series chips. Unless you're planning to move beyond those CPUs, it seems like a solid choice.

I'm curious about whether the processor has failed or if the memory isn't meeting the required speed standards. The 400-series boards were often questioned for supporting Ryzen 1xxx CPUs at their launch.
