You're being asked to transfer files and perform updates, likely involving troubleshooting and virus removal. You've listed your tools and know common locations but are seeking advice on organization and hidden storage spots.

Consider using drivesnapshot to create a mountable copy of old drives. I'm not certain if the unregistered version is functioning properly after some time, but it seems reliable for immediate backups. For more details, check the link: http://www.drivesnapshot.de/en/index.htm

I’d create a visual of the operating system drive before and after your task. I often gather everything into a folder named after the PC so multiple users can share the same drive. Be sure your client has all the required program discs ready for a fresh OS installation.

There is only a slight chance I will need to do that. The USBs are more of a precaution than an actual use case.

I'll set up a new folder named "ARikozuM-Tower" on the external drive. This will help separate files for different users without any confusion.

Inquire about the essential programs. Determine where custom files are available for those tools. For many applications, you can save preferences after reinstalling.
