Starting from the 10/100 Cisco ports, two Huawei routers are connected via Ethernet. One handles MPLS traffic, which my boss explained is an internal private network not reaching the internet. The other route goes through our firewall, then Dlink switches and a Netgear switch. I think Cisco doesn’t support SFTP+, only SFTP and the ports operate at 10/100 Mbps, which explains the slower speeds.

There are numerous firewalls supporting SFTP+ ports. What capabilities should you prioritize? A product like this one from Netgate might fit the bill—likely handling more than 1GbE but not exceeding 10GbE. I’m also looking for switches with SFTP+ uplinks. There are many choices available based on your specific requirements.

The boss had trouble remembering details, so we confirmed the contract with our ISP. It was a 10Mbit connection, not a 10Gbit one. We still appreciate your advice and assistance!

Those speeds look acceptable so far. I might start thinking about swapping those 100m switches, but they should work for now. Also, see if the components are available and consider replacing them first.
