Tips for improving value when investing
Hi
My current configuration struggles significantly with newer games, experiencing noticeable lag and choppiness. I think the main issue might be related to my RAM usage—when checked in Task Manager, it's hovering near 95%. But since I'm not a dedicated gamer, I'm trying to find the most cost-effective upgrade to get back into playing new titles. It seems my old motherboard could also be worth replacing?
Thanks in advance!
What are the latest games?
What is your budget?
What is the brand and model of the PSU?
Most FPS titles such as Ready or Not and Far Cry 6 are typical examples.

Affordability isn't a priority, but I'm looking for something decent without the premium. Since I don't play online much, it's mostly in campaign mode.
How old is that PSU?
You pretty much need to start from scratch at this point, nothing worth investing in to is using DDR3. Depending on budget and if you're willing to buy used you can probably get a good deal on a Ryzen 7 5000 series machine as people sell off old parts to find AM5 builds, or build AM5 yourself.
