Hi,
I'm a thirtysomething living in the United States with a physical disability and a neuromuscular condition. Due to my muscle weakness, most computer mouse models are difficult for me to operate. My preferred model is a Creative Labs wired optical mouse from around 2007.
I'm facing the well-known "double-click problem" with my mouse. I need help diagnosing and fixing it. I could possibly send the mouse anywhere in the country or even globally.
There are detailed guides for resolving the "double-click problem" in an article on Creative Creations, but because of my physical limitations and lack of soldering experience, I can't fix it myself.
Do you have any suggestions on how to find a qualified, experienced, and trustworthy electrical or computer engineer—anywhere in the USA or elsewhere? I'm looking for someone who truly understands what they're doing.
