I had it paired with a 5600x in a build and honestly its a neat GPU in fact for a first gaming GPU for intel iam quite impressed ..
The card its self looks neat and somewhat elegant..
software is super simple and easy to OC and play around with the settings !
Above all Intel have been updating the drivers like crazy they have been getting better and better every time which shows me they are 100% invested in being a true 3rd player in the gpu market ..
If they can pull a monster card next gen in the realm of the 5070 / 5080 AMD and Nvidia will need to watch their backs !!
Iam planning a 13600k /Arc770 blue and black intel build .. got everything except the CPU was waiting for the 13600k to come down in price just because its a fun build not a needed build ..
looks less likely with the pathetic 14th gen refresh that the price will drop !!
I've come across that about Intel driver updates which sounds like a good thing to me. As someone who's just beginning to experience pc building, I can't say over clocking is on the top my list of things to try out, but I'll keep what you mentioned in mind. I didn't get the impression that Intel 14 gen was all that great not bad per say just ok, a 13th gen 2.0 if you will.
Overclocking isn’t really my style unless I run a few tests in Port Royal or lower the voltage on my 7900xtx Red Devil to cut down hot spots.
The overclocking I do is mostly for testing purposes, and I always reset everything back to stock afterward.
My take on ARC770 overclocking was a pretty basic method compared to AMD’s adrenaline or MSI afterburner.
My strong dislike for Intel comes mainly from its poor socket life.
Overall, I don’t have major problems with the CPU being hot and fairly power-hungry, though it’s not ideal.
But I can’t agree with 14th—it feels like selling out to clueless Intel fans who just buy anything new without caring about performance!
With little to no improvement over the 13th, it’s just another case of selling rubbish to those who don’t know better.
Let’s give Intel a break!!
I'm operating an A380 in my HTPC as a watchdog for Intel drivers. The expected performance for Battlemage is around RTX 4070 Ti level. It seems they aren't planning to directly challenge Nvidia or AMD at the top tier just yet. If they maintain a 256-bit bus and boost Xe cores to 56, it could yield an effective 7188 processing cores (the 4070 Ti has 7680 Cuda cores). Although the proposed die size is similar to that of a 4080 and would use comparable TSMC technology, it might focus more on Intel's RT cores. It's challenging to compare directly, especially when considering AMD's lower stream processor counts, which this would be slightly larger than the 7800 XT at 60 CU.
Older titles are where Intel struggles significantly, so I wouldn't expect much performance unless you're playing recent games using DX12 or Vulkan. Even with updated drivers, some older games still have compatibility issues.
I'd likely aim for a setup like this, planning to upgrade to a 14700 and a new GPU in a few years.

I believe you're thinking about older games or something related to Intel GPUs. From your game list, it seems like this wouldn't match your preferences.
