The input lag increases more when using a lower FPS_max, and maintaining a steady 300 FPS is preferable instead of fluctuating between 300 and 500 FPS.

Hey everyone, here’s my top CS:GO performance setup (focusing on black/white style) with a budget that stays reasonable. Looking forward to adding some content later. The PC part list is available here, and the breakdown by seller is also listed.

CPU: Intel Core i7-6700K @ 4.0GHz, quad-core (€330.25 from Mindfactory)
Cooler: CRYORIG H7 (49 CFM, €39.17 on Amazon Germany)
Motherboard: Asus Z170-PRO ATX (€149.33 from Amazon Germany)
Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB, DDR4-3000, €143.99)
Storage: Sandisk SSD PLUS 120GB (€53.67)
Drive: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB (€51.80)
Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB (€266.94)
Case: Phanteks ECLIPSE P400S (€96.83)
Power Supply: SeaSonic 520W ATX (€71.94)
OS: Windows 10 Home OEM 64-bit
Software: Microsoft Office 2016 (free)
Fans: Corsair AF120 Quiet Edition 2-pack (39.9 CFM, €32.90)

Overall cost comes to about €1236.82, including shipping and taxes. All numbers are from PCPartPicker data. Let me know what you think!

Appears fine. Adjusting a few details allows acquiring a GTX 1070 via this link: https://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/kpmCPs. Alternatively, opt for the RX 480/580 with 8GB RAM to save costs.
