I'm setting up a desktop for training financial/economic deep learning models and need some guidance. Currently, I'm using an asus gaming laptop, but it gets very hot and runs into memory limits. Here are the components I'm evaluating:

Processor options include the MSI MAG X870 TOMAHAWK or the MSI MAG X870 CARBON, along with the AMD Ryzen 9 9900X.
Cooling solutions range from an Antec Flux Pro to a Corsair Vengeance with 96 GB DDR5 memory and a 1000 W power supply.
Storage choices involve a Samsung 990 Pro M.2-2280 NVMe drive and a WD Black Sata 8TB SSD.
Software-wise, I plan to use Keras or TensorFlow, but note that these frameworks won't utilize the GPU in Windows until later this year. I intend to switch to PyTorch, which supports GPU training, soon.

I'm leaning toward the Tomahawk for its extra USB ports, though the Carbon offers more connectivity.
The Asrock Nova is also on my list but appears unavailable at most retailers.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Duane.

Thanks for the feedback! It seems this procedure is around 20-30% quicker for my apps (in comparison to 9900x).
