Hello everyone,
I'm still getting familiar with overclocking. I just bought a new system (check the link). I'm curious if it's safe to try overclocking the processor and graphics card without harming the machine. If it's possible, could anyone suggest some software or let me know if my PSU is sufficient? Thanks in advance for any advice.

Based on the uncertainty about the power supply, that's one issue. Also, the 760g chipset is quite basic for AMD. It's fine with it, but when you begin using 8-core CPUs that consume more power and attempt to overclock them, exceeding their limits, the board might react negatively.

Not sure which power supply is inside. I might want to swap it out. Many prebuilt units cut corners on the PSU. Which type of cooler is used for the CPU?

Hey thanks for getting back to me. The PSU is: 500W Coolermaster
And cpu cooler X 2 air, Intel stock cooler

Uncertain about how much confidence I should have in the cooler master. Running stock speed might be acceptable. That setup wouldn't support the stock cooler on an AMD box; if it's the stock cooler, you should replace it before attempting overclocking.

Reconsidering, it seems safer to stick with the stock configuration. It appears a basic board is inside, and it's unclear if the 760g model could handle such modifications.

Thanks for your reply. It seems you believe it's not necessary to try overclocking with these machines.
