Hey everyone. My latest project is done and I ran 3D Mark on it. During the test it showed tiny white dots across the screen—like a few pixels briefly turning white, similar to old film grain. It happens both when benchmarking and during regular use. Is this a problem with my GPU or monitor, or is it related to the software? Edited Feb 18, 2023 by tddk25

It seems you're dealing with some hardware issues. This could be related to the monitor, video cable, driver, graphics card, PCIe port, or power supply unit. The best approach would be to try using a different monitor cable. Having another device to test the monitor and cable on it would also help. If needed, check if your system recognizes the GPU correctly. You can then use DDU to clear the drivers and reinstall them. If that fails, try reseating the GPU or switching to a different PCIe slot.

It seems there might be an issue. Have you verified that the appropriate GPU drivers are installed? Capture a screenshot if possible.

The monitor and cable functioned properly on a previous setup, so that possibility is eliminated.

The problem seems to involve both a motherboard and a graphics card. Since the IO headers block you from using a different PCIe slot, it’s likely a hardware limitation rather than just a driver or software fix. This could point to an issue with the motherboard itself.
