Good bin bdie, just add another of those 16gb kits (used market should have some at a good discount) and now youve got 32gb in 4x8 dual rank config for ~20% extra bandwidth due to dual rank alone, but not quad channel ofc For ocing just look for the max fclk the cpu can run and run rams at that speed then go from there tightening wise, you prob max somewhere around 3800-4000mhz Volt wise you prob dont even need 1.5v but if you wanna run 1.5v and up youll need a fan over the rams so they dont overheat and crash Definitely set trefi 65536, then the rest of the oc you just look up a 3800-4000 bdie oc profile, i think buildzoid has done a 3800 bdie oc before on one of his vids
At such low speeds those differences are hardly noticeable, aside from the fact he often uses Ryzen in many of his DDR4 OC videos.
He might face some problems using a B-Die with 5950 when you have 5800. If he uses a Ryzen 3000 and you have a 5800, it should work fine. For an MSI motherboard with an ASUS motherboard, compatibility is likely better.
The CPU also offers a FCLK adjustment feature, not just for RAM.
It's mainly because the same clock and memory timings are linked in both 1:1 and 2:1 modes, making them synchronized. The decoupled clock and memory aren't favored since latency issues arise, though you can compensate by using a clock above 5000 MHz. Overall, it doesn't add significant value.
