Timing details and performance metrics
I upgraded from a 2400Mhz to a 3200Mhz DDR4 stick and boosted it to 3000Mhz in BIOS. Recently, I adjusted the memory timings in CPU-Z to match the new settings. The results are showing better performance now, but my memory timings appear higher than before. Decide whether to stick with default settings or apply the optimized ones based on your needs.
Certain programs might gain from faster speeds, while others could face slower response times due to higher delays. It’s possible to balance these factors by testing different options. In short, benchmarking appears to be the most reliable approach. Measure how games or applications perform in each setting to determine the best configuration for your needs.
