Timing
They perform quite differently—Hynix clocks high while time appears slightly lower in microns, but overall timing is tight. Uncertain about the micron IC; Extreme Systems DDR3 threads only reference D9QBJ Hynix, which seems inferior to BFR and MFR, though it should still handle 2800+ with proper tuning. It’s a respectable performance but not exceptionally fast. I’ve paired a Mix Match 2Gbit Micron D9PFJ with a 2Gbit Hynix CFR, and they function correctly. Try pushing speeds above 1800 to see how it goes—probably manageable if you ignore RAM overclocking. It should work fine without issues.
