The product has been stored properly in a sealed bag, which helps maintain its quality. Sealed containers generally extend shelf life, but exact longevity depends on storage conditions and material. For best results, keep it away from heat and moisture.

The paste stays effective as long as the mixture doesn’t become too dry. I’ve been using a big tubing of MX-4 for over five years without any problems.

I owned a tube from 2009, specifically the Noctua NH-1 model, and used it all the way through in 2019. It remained functional, and temperatures stayed consistent with previous builds.

Tim usually consists of silicon oil with a conductive additive, but sometimes it varies. The outcome depends on the specific case.

When properly sealed and stored at room temperature, it may remain usable for many years.
