Throttlestop says one of the parts gets ZERO watts!
Hello, I already wrote about this before on my posts. According to HWmonitor, my CPU uses way too much power when it spikes and goes up to a speed of 7000 Mhz. First, I thought the program HWmonitor was wrong, but in another time I saw the same thing happen again with different numbers. I think it's not the software causing this; instead, the CPU is really using that much power for just a few seconds, which shows up in the readings. So I decided to use the program ThrottleStop to slow down the wattage. It looks like with Intel 10th generation chips, overclocking is turned off by default in the BIOS, so I watched a video and went into advanced settings to turn it on. I also set the CPU power limit to 35 watts instead of the usual 45. But when I did that, something weird happened: according to Throttlestop, the default unchangeable turbo boost for 2 cores is actually 5 watts or even 0 watts here you
What CPU do you think? It's an Intel Core i5-10300H Processor (with 8MB cache) that goes up to 4.50 GHz. This thing has four cores and eight threads, which makes perfect sense for me. I can see what it is on the Intel website at www.intel.com.
