I talked with my parents about upgrading to a new PC since the old laptop is really bad. I figured if I buy CPU, motherboard, RAM, SSD from Newegg (including VAT) and GPU, PSU, case from Amazon India or nearby stores, I could save around 145-150 USD. On one hand, the government pushes for Digital India, but on the other, they seem to be complicating access to computers.
Really, with a 3700x on a 3700 MB drive, it feels like I'd be paying more than the price tag. I’m not sure why people would buy them so cheaply. Just keep calm and patience will pay off—stores will restock eventually, and if demand drops, prices will stabilize. Even with my old FX series running, I’d skip extra costs for something that might end up back in stock. I’m hoping to get a 5900x when it’s available at full price, and maybe a 6800xt once they drop to MSRP. For now, just enjoy a drink and wait a bit.
