Hello!
I recently assembled the initial PC using the AMD 5000 Series Ryzen 7 5700X Desktop Processor, featuring 8 cores, 16 threads, 36 MB cache, running at up to 4.6 GHz on an AM4 500 Series chipset (capacity ranging from 100 to 100,000,000,926WOF). The motherboard is GIGABYTE AMD B550 AORUS Elite AX V2 ATX board, equipped with a digital twin power design, expanded heatsinks, dual PCIe 4.0/3.0 x4 M.2 slots with thermal guards, a front USB Type-C port, and DDR4 memory support.

Additionally, I have the Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (1x16GB) DDR4 3600MHz C18 desktop memory in black, along with a Samsung 980 PRO 500GB SSD offering up to 6,900 MB/s PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 storage and an internal solid-state drive.

I also own a Crucial BX500 500GB 2.5-inch SATA 3D NAND internal SSD with a maximum speed of 550 MB/s, and a Corsair CV650 power supply rated for 80 Plus Bronze, delivering 650 watts without being modular.

Regarding the issue, I received a prolonged beep followed by two or three short beeps after turning on the system for a few seconds, repeating the same pattern. I have not installed any GPU and wish to use it without one, but upon removing the RAM modules, no sound is produced—only a quiet silence, regardless of where the RAM is placed. Could you help me understand what might be causing this problem?

This beep code means one long beep followed by two or three short beeps. It usually points to a video card issue, suggesting the card might not be properly seated or is faulty. Inspecting the connections or swapping the card can assist in identifying the problem.

Yes, I'm checking to see if there are any issues with the PC, especially concerning the beeping sound.

It could be and it might not be, unless you include all the required elements.

Currently, the main indication of the issue comes from the beep codes. A specific beep code indicates a GPU error, which suggests your system lacks one. The available choices are either upgrade the CPU to a G-series model (5600G/5700G) or install a dedicated GPU. If you don’t have a dedicated GPU and aren’t planning to use gaming, a very low-power option such as an nVidia GT1030 or GTX 1050 would be suitable. For those seeking a budget gaming GPU, the Radeon RX6600 offers a cost-effective solution capable of 1080p Medium settings for gaming.
