You recently received a new 4070 Ti and a 1200 watt power supply. After installing them, the boot, VGA, and DRAM indicators lit up white. You disassembled the computer, reinstalled everything, and even tried your old power supply—it still worked. Now you're unsure what's wrong. Your system specs are: Ryzen 9 5950X, MSI 4070 Ti, 32GB G.Skill RAM, MSI Mag X570 Tomahawk, Wi-Fi.
You can attach these two pins using a metal screwdriver for 5 to 10 seconds as specified in the instructions. It’s safe—this is very low voltage—and you won’t risk injury. Just ensure the driver isn’t forced into anything else. If your package included a jumper cap, that works too.
I installed the previous GPU and the old power supply, and everything is working fine.
Consider testing each memory module individually. Check for functionality by removing the 4070 and observing performance. Also, verify if video is available on the device.
