Your system ran low on memory recently, consuming 29 gigabytes of RAM without any apparent cause. It’s possible background processes or software were using excessive resources. Try closing unnecessary programs or checking for updates to resolve the issue.

Occasionally the program has a flaw or memory issue that causes it to consume increasing amounts of storage until it stops functioning or becomes apparent. The system performed its role by allocating the requested memory. There could have been a legitimate tool handling significant tasks—such as video processing, encoding, or compression—using up the entire 29 GB of available space. This would have been normal for a purposeful application. In other cases, it might stem from poor coding or unforeseen circumstances, like an app that refreshes every five minutes and uses 100 KB each time. Over days or weeks this adds up rapidly: hundreds of kilobytes per hour, thousands over a month.

That’s a valid point, but the issue likely came from the Windows news feed itself. It could be a Windows-related bug, though I’m not sure.
