Three distinct GPUs facing the same issue, causing crashes during gameplay on a PC.
So as you have read I have had 3 different GPUs installed on my PC, two 3060s and now s 6600xt. It has come to this because everytime I open a game, whatever that game is, the pc crashes. This was a little bit different between cards though, as the 3060 would make the pc restart, and the 6600xt makes it freeze with a black screen. Yesterday I did take the pc to a repair shop with the 6600 that is currently installed and somehow it did run perfectly on a smaller and simpler monitor, a 1080p I belive. However when I got home, despite having bought a new display port cable, trying with hdmi and factoring reset my monitor it didn't work. I also tried lowering my 2k monitor's resolution to 1080p with no avail. To make sure the problem came from the monitor I tried connecting the pc to my 4k TV, but the problem still persevered. All the drivers are up to date and so is windows btw. I have absolutely no clue what is happening. I5-11600k 16G gb RAM 750W PSU Motherboard: Asus B460M A R2
What model number? 750w isn't sufficient, we require the model number.
I'm familiar with what you're talking about, but I assumed they usually blow up and stop functioning. Since that hasn't happened to me, I set that aside. I'll attempt a different power unit and check if the issues originate there.
Avoid purchasing a PSU expecting it to ignore its documented problems. Issues don’t always appear immediately; they can range from minor to severe. System instability is a common concern. Regardless, it poses a significant risk and could lead to failure.
